Day 1:     Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport / Amritsar Junction Railway Station.

              Welcome to the Holy city of Amritsar Transfer to the Hotel in Amritsar

Amritsar

      • On arrival Check-in the Hotel. After freshen up and some rest, get ready to visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum which exhibits history of the Sikh empire  and  the Gobindgarh Fort (Initially known as Bhaingian Da Qila). The fort has numerous museums, a vibrant Bazaar and food stalls. There are several high- tech shows and live performances are conducted at the Fort. The high-tech shows such as light and sound show (after sunset), Sher E Punjab that highlights the history of the fort as well as the city.
      • Later, return to the hotel and after freshen up, go for Punjabi food walk where you taste Punjabi food like Amritsar Kulcha, Lassi and Street snacks and shop pulkari embroidery and handicrafts.
      • Overnight stay at the Hotel in Amritsar.

 

Day 2:     Amritsar - Heritage and Freedom struggle

Amritsar

      • Early morning visit Golden Temple (also known as Harmandar Sahib) - holiest shrine for the Sikh religion and have a holy meal at Guru Ka Langar. Thereafter proceed to visit Jalliawala Bagh- which was the most infamous massacre under British Raj and Partition Museum (Closed on Monday).
      • Visit Heritage Street for colonial architecture & local crafts. 
      • After lunch proceed to watch the India-Pakistan parade and lowering of the flag ceremony at Wagah-Attari Border. Later return to Hotel
      • Overnight stay at the Hotel in Amritsar.

Note:-

  1. Carry a Dupatta and Scarf to cover your head before entering the Temples.
  2. Reach the border at least 1 hour prior to the ceremony to get a seat.

 

Day 3:     Rural Punjab experience | Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport /Amritsar Junction Railway Station .

Amritsar Departure

      • After breakfast at Hotel, Check out from the hotel and proceed to Sadda Pind to experience authentic culture, colours and flavours of Punjab.
      • Thereafter at appropriate time transfer to Airport or Railway Station to reach home destination with lovely memories to cherish.

 

Optional:- 

      • Travellers can visit Punjab State War Heroes Memorial & Museum which is 5 km from Sadda Pind.
