Continue to Thekkady, Kerala’s wildlife heartland, where serene lake boating and cultural performances add depth to the experience. Later, unwind in Alleppey with a traditional houseboat cruise through peaceful backwaters lined with coconut palms and paddy fields.

The tour concludes along the sun-kissed shores of Kovalam, offering relaxed beach time and optional wellness therapies, before a short sightseeing visit in Trivandrum. Day 1:     Cochin International Airport / Ernakulam Railway Station

                Welcome to Cochin (Kochi) – the Queen of the Arabian Sea Transfer from Airport/ Railway Station to the Hotel | Cochin Heritage Sightseeing

Cochin (Kochi)

      • Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport or railway station, meet our representative for a smooth transfer to your hotel. 
      • Upon arrival, Check-in to the pre-booked hotel. After freshen-up and take a rest  for a short time, before proceeding to visit the historic Fort Kochi area, celebrated for its colonial architecture and relaxed coastal atmosphere. Subsequently, visit St. Francis Church and the historic Santa Cruz Basilica, both reflecting the city’s European influence. 
      • Afterwards, continue to the Mattancherry Palace (closed on Friday & Saturday), Jewish synagogue (closed on Friday & Saturday and Jewish Holidays). A stroll through Jew Town, known for antique stores and spice markets, adds a local touch to your journey.
      • As evening approaches, head to the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, one of Kochi’s most photographed landmarks. Finally, enjoy the scenic ambiance of Marine Drive before returning to the hotel.
      • Overnight stay at Hotel in Cochin.

 

Day 2:     Cochin (Kochi)  Munnar (approx 130 Km and take 4 hours) | Scenic Hill Drive and Leisure

Munnar

      • Following breakfast, check-out from the hotel and depart for Munnar, one of Kerala’s most loved hill stations. Along the way, pause to admire the cascading Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls, surrounded by lush greenery and misty landscapes.
      • Upon arrival in Munnar, check-in to the pre-booked hotel or resort and relax amidst cool mountain air. 
      • Later in the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk through the local market, popular for tea, spices, and handmade chocolates.
      • Overnight stay at a Hotel or Resort in Munnar.

 

Day 3:     Munnar Full-Day Sightseeing

Munnar

      • After breakfast, set out for a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Munnar: 
        • Begin with Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai), famous for panoramic views and the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (park closed from January to March). 
        • Next, visit the Tea Museum and Tea Factory to understand the region’s tea-making heritage.
        • Thereafter, proceed to Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake, where boating can be enjoyed at an additional cost. Return to the hotel by evening and relax.
      • Overnight stay at a Hotel in Munnar.

 

Note:-  The Tea Museum remains closed on Mondays and Good Fridays.

Optional:  Enjoy Boat Ride on the Kundala dam Lake and Mattupetty dam.

 

Day 4:     Munnar Thekkady (approx 105 Km and take 3.5 hours) | Wildlife Experience

Thekkady / Periyar

      • Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel, depart for Thekkady (Periyar) -the wildlife destination of Kerala.
      • Upon arrival in Thekkady, check-in to the pre-booked hotel and take some time to freshen up. After having lunch at a hotel or a local restaurant, move toward visiting Periyar National Park and enjoy a tranquil boat ride on Periyar Lake, offering chances to spot wildlife along the forested banks.
      • If time permits, you may also explore optional experiences such as an Elephant Safari, a Kathakali performance — the traditional dance drama portraying the battle between good and evil — and witness a traditional Kalaripayattu martial arts show.
      • Overnight stay at Hotel in Thekkady.

 

Day 5:     Thekkady Alleppey (approx 150 Km and take 4 hours) | Backwater Houseboat Cruises 

Alleppey (Alappuzha)

      • After an early breakfast, check-out from the hotel and depart for Alleppey,  often referred to as the “Backwater Capital of Kerala”.
      • Upon arrival, board your private houseboat and immerse yourself in the calm beauty of the waterways. As the journey unfolds, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink followed by a freshly prepared traditional Kerala lunch on board and cruise through the serene backwaters lined with coconut palms and paddy fields. 
      • Later in the evening, witness a peaceful sunset over the backwaters before savoring a delicious dinner. The houseboat anchors for the night amid calm surroundings.
      • Overnight stay on the Houseboat in Alleppey.

 

Optional: Evening visit to Alappuzha Beach with an overnight stay at the Hotel or Resort in Alleppey instead of the houseboat.

 

Day 6:     Alleppey Kovalam (approx 160 Km and take 4-5 hours) | Coastal Leisure

Kovalam

      • After breakfast on the houseboat, check-out and drive to the coastal town of Kovalam. Enroute, stop at the impressive Jatayu Earth Centre and take a cable car to the top offers stunning views and optional adventure activities such as archery and target shooting.
      • Upon reaching Kovalam, check-in to the pre-booked  resort. The remainder of the day is free to relax—unwind on the sandy shores, enjoy the sea breeze, or indulge in Ayurvedic wellness therapies. End the day by watching a beautiful sunset at Lighthouse Beach or Hawa Beach.
      • Overnight stay at Hotel/Resort in Kovalam.

 

Day 7:     Kovalam Trivandrum (approx 18 Km and take 30 mins.) | Trivandrum Sightseeing | Trivandrum International Airport or Railway Station

 Trivandrum & Departure

      • After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) for a short city tour.
      • Arrive and visit the revered Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple(dress code applicable), followed by the Kuthira Malika  Palace Museum, Napier Museum and the Srichithra Art Gallery. 
      • Later, you will be transferred to the Airport or Railway Station for departure concluding your memorable 07 days Glorious Kerala  tour with lasting travel memories.
