Day 1:     Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport / Amritsar Junction Railway Station.
              Welcome to the Holy city of Amritsar Transfer to the Hotel in Amritsar

      • On arrival Check-in the Hotel. After freshen up and some rest, get ready to visit The Gobindgarh Fort (Initially known as Bhaingian Da Qila). The fort has numerous museums, a vibrant Bazaar and food stalls. There are several high- tech shows and live performances are conducted at the Fort. The high-tech shows such as light and sound show (after sunset), Sher E Punjab that highlights the history of the fort as well as the city.
      • Rest of the day at Leisure.
      • Overnight stay at the Hotel in Amritsar.

 

Day 2:     Amritsar Sightseeing

      • Early morning visit Golden Temple (also known as Harmandar Sahib)- holiest shrine for the Sikh religion and experience a holy meal at Guru Ka Langar. Thereafter proceed to visit Jalliawala Bagh- which was the most infamous massacre under British Raj and magnificent Durgiana Temple.
      • After lunch proceed to watch the India-Pakistan parade and lowering of the flag ceremony at Wagah - Attari Border. Later return to Hotel
      • Overnight stay at the Hotel in Amritsar.

 

Note:-

  1. Carry a Dupatta and Scarf to cover your head before entering the Temples.
  2. Reach the border at least 1 hour prior to the ceremony to get a seat.

 

Day 3:     Amritsar Sightseeing

Amritsar

      • After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visit Partition Museum (Closed on Monday), Ram Tirath Ashram, Punjab State War Heroes Memorial & Museum.
      • Later explore Hall Bazaar for shopping local items then proceed to Lawrence Road for delicious dinner.
      • Overnight stay at the Hotel in Amritsar.

Optional: 

          • Travellers can visit Jama Masjid Khairuddin which is at Hall Bazaar

 

Day 4:     Amritsar | Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport /Amritsar Junction Railway Station .

Departure

      • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and at appropriate time transfer to Airport or Railway Station to reach home destination with lovely memories to cherish.
